Assistance with Heating or Cooling Bill

Do you need help paying your heating or cooling bill?Mecklenburg County offers programs to help eligible low-income households with their immediate energy needs.
Representatives will be at Charlotte Area Fund on February 12th from 8:30 AM to 3 PM, taking applications.Crisis Intervention Program Requirements
1. At least one U.S. citizen or legal resident in the household.
2. Income at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level.
3. Responsible for energy bills.
4. Household must be in a heating or cooling-related emergency.
