NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

CAF will provide emergency food to individuals who do not qualify for the Self Sufficiency Project, but are in need through the CAF Food Pantry. Food vouchers will also be available to these individuals to purchase foods from local grocers to meet their restrictive diet needs.

Through the Nutrition Project, emergency food will be provided for 100 clients not eligible for the Self Sufficiency Project. This project will serve those clients coming into the agency for nutritional needs, who are disabled, handicapped, or any other persons not able to work or receive food from other food pantries. Clients will either receive a prepared food box, with the contents dependent upon the family size, or, for those individuals with special dietary needs, a food voucher to purchase food from local grocers to meet their restrictive diet needs.
